This is a beautiful song that we would like to add to our program.
Millennium Voices are singing at The Kingston Butter Factory this weekend. Simonne Connelly and Gail Godfrey are two music educators who are providing a concert experience for their piano students. They have kindly invited Millennium Voices to perform. We will be performing one song - Yonder Come Day - Gail and Simonne are offering a performance opportunity to a large group of students and are mindful of keeping the program within a reasonable time frame. Please arrive at 1.45pm for a 2.00pm start. Please wear a bright coloured T-shirt and jeans, dress shorts or a skirt. The cost for adults is $10, children are free.
Just The Way You Are is our first pop song with Millennium Voices. This is a beautiful arrangement to watch and learn the words.
Try to learn the lyrics of this song by singing along with this animation.
Check out this link to a choir singing this song. They are using percussion to support this song as well!
This is a beautiful song that we have just started to learn. Take a moment to listen to another choir sing this song.
This week we learnt to use a hand sign when singing and reading music. A hand sign gives the pitch or sound a physical placement. Try to use the hand sign with the warm up exercises.
Millennium Voices is a children's choir that is run by Gail Godfrey and Anne Flood for 9-12 year olds.
Rehearsals are held each Thursday, 3:30-4:30 at St. Edwards Church, Daisy Hill.
